What to do when Claude Code doesn't install, start or answer (Claude Code).

"Claude Code reaches an Anthropic model, or one on this machine"

The agent's model is another hosted provider's, which Claude Code can't use. Start the agent with an Anthropic model, or switch it to another harness with lnk agent use --harness link.

"the Node Link downloaded isn't the one it pins"

A bad download: the Node it fetched doesn't match the SHA-256 in its source. Nothing ran, so try again later.

"Claude Code isn't installed"

Its install didn't finish. lnk agent use --harness claude installs it again, and lnk agent logs --follow shows what npm said.
